About us

Centre for Educational Programmes under the AEO “Nazarbayev Intellectual schools” (hereinafter referred to as the Centre) was founded on February 2, 2012 by the decision of the in–person meeting of the Board of Trustees of the AEO “Nazarbayev Intellectual schools” (Minutes No. 5).

The main tasks of the Centre for Educational Programmes include the development of innovative educational programmes and resources, scientific and methodological support for their piloting and implementation, monitoring and research in the field of development and revision of the educational programme of AEO “Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools” – NIS–Programme in Intellectual schools.

Mission

To contribute to improving the quality of general secondary education in Kazakhstan through the continuous enhancement of the educational programme of Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools and its adaptation for secondary schools across the country.

Main areas of activity:

1. Development of educational programmes, methodological recommendations, monitoring of the implementation and improvement of educational programmes in various subjects.

2. Scientific and methodological support for teachers of Intellectual schools.

3. Development of educational resources:

  3.1. Textbooks (teacher’s guide, student book and workbook);

  3.2. Digital educational resources.

4. Research activities.

5. Dissemination of best practices within the secondary education system of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
