About us 

The "Development Fund" corporate fund (hereinafter referred to as the Fund) was established on 29 February 2012 by the decision of the Board of Trustees of the Autonomous Educational Organization "Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools".  

The purpose of the Fund's activities is to advance society in various domains including social, cultural, educational, research, scientific and technical, charitable, innovative, managerial, and other socially beneficial areas. Additionally, the Foundation aims to support the Autonomous Educational Organization "Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools" and its affiliated entities in achieving their statutory goals, as well as accumulate its assets from voluntary property contributions and other lawful revenues. 

The main activities of the Fund are: 

• Creation of conditions in Kazakhstan for intellectual and creative development of personality. 

• Participation in significant projects for addressing a wide range of social, cultural, educational, charitable, research, scientific, technical, and innovative challenges. 

• Establishment, financing, and/or management of scholarships, grants, and other initiatives in the social, cultural, educational, charitable, research, scientific, technical, and innovative fields. 

• Management functions related to the use of received income, in line with the Fund's activities specified in this Charter. 

• Promotion of the Founder's values and ideas in society. 

• Raising funds (through voluntary donations, sponsorship, grants, and other means) from individuals, legal entities, public organizations, and other entities, including foreign entities, to establish endowment and conduct fundraising activities. 

• Supporting the targeted training of highly skilled and competitive personnel in the country by financing training programs, research, professional internships, and participation in exhibitions, conferences, symposiums, and other relevant events. 

• Social security for students and employees of the Founder and their organizations.
