An open day was held at school in the village of Uzynkol
An open day was held at support school No. 1 in the village of Uzynkol, Kostanay region, which became a participant in the project “Capacity Development of rural schools”. Over the next three years, more than 70 teachers of the school will take advanced training courses at AEO “Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools”, and the quality of knowledge will improve significantly, they say at the school.
This year as part of the project for the development of flagship schools, 36 classrooms were updated, including the Art studio, Abay’s classroom, robotics room, STEM laboratory and Computer science classroom received a full set of computers.
School teachers have already begun training conducted on the basis of Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools. The intensive courses, covering modern teaching techniques and methodologies, will last for 5-6 months, and then methodical support for the entire school will be provided for three years.
Director of NIS in the city of Kostanay Gulnara Duskaziyeva expressed her readiness to provide all possible support to the Uzynkol school.
“Today we see that a physical environment has been created for the student. However, it is not enough. Our big idea is to bring the school to the level of a new consciousness. A consciousness that is ready for change. Change should always be for the better, every day, every lesson. We will accompany them in this process; seminars and master classes, open lessons and joint projects have already been planned and scheduled. The most important thing is the quality of education and comprehensive personal development that a child can receive at school,” says Gulnara Duskaziyeva.
Deputy Akim of the Kostanay region Rinat Mukhametkali took part in the presentation of the school.
“Cooperation with the “Qazaqstan Halkyna” Foundation and partners helps improve the social sphere. This year alone, the fund will allocate more than one and a half billion tenge to create high-quality conditions for education: this is the renovation of 4 flagship rural schools, the supply of robotics classrooms, modern equipment for special schools,” says the deputy akim of the region.
This year, the Foundation “Qazaqstan Halkyna” allocated more than 15.750 billion tenge to equip rural support schools.
The Foundation “Qazaqstan Halkyna” , together with the Fund for Sustainable Development of Education, this year, as part of the second stage of the program, will modernize 63 support schools throughout Kazakhstan, including 4 schools in the Kostanay region, which will receive a complete modernization of the material and technical base and methodological support from the project partner – AEO “Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools,” says Bauyrzhan Orazgaliyev, the representative of the Foundation “Qazaqstan Halkyna” .
In addition, representatives of the local executive body intend to improve lighting and Internet in support school soon.
Let us remind you that “Capacity development of rural schools” is a joint project of the Foundation for Sustainable Development of Education, the Foundation “Qazaqstan Halkyna” , and AEO "Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools". It is worth noting that all operating expenses of the Fund are covered by Holding Aitas.
In 2022, with the support of the Foundation “Qazaqstan Halkyna” , the first stage of the project was implemented, in which 17 schools in 17 regions of the country took part.
The second stage of the project began in 2023, in which 63 schools are participating. The list of schools was approved by the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan. A complete list of schools can be found on the website furo.kz.
During 2023, schools will be fully equipped with modern classrooms and additional education classrooms.
