NIS teachers visited rural support schools in the Turkestan region

For 15 years, NIS has been ensuring the sustainable development of secondary education, helping to increase the country's intellectual potential. In August 2022, together with the Foundation "Qazaqstan Halqyna" and the Foundation for Sustainable Development of Education, the charity project “Capacity development of rural schools” was launched. In order to implement the project NIS have developed tools and methods for studying the state, quality of teaching and learning of secondary schools in the regions.
The large-scale project will allow rural children to receive a quality education, and rural teachers will increase the level of professional competence. As a result, support schools should become resource centers for other educational institutions in the region.
In this regard, a number of NIS teachers in Turkestan, within the framework of the charity project “Capacity development of rural schools” began methodological support for teachers and students of support schools in the region. On November 15, teachers from NIS in the city of Turkestan visited the secondary school named after Ashirbek Sygay of the Sauran region and conducted 10 open lessons and 2 training seminars to exchange experience.
The charity project “Capacity development of rural schools” has become an open dialogue platform for making systemic changes throughout the school community, aimed at ensuring a positive impact on the development of the secondary education system and raising the position of rural schools in the country’s education rankings to a high level.
