Mazhilis deputies got acquainted with the NIS ecosystem
A meeting of top managers of the Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools and Nazarbayev University with deputies of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan took place in the capital.
The event was attended by Deputy Chairperson of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Daniya Espayeva, Chairperson of the Committee on Finance and Budget Tatyana Savelyeva, Chairperson of the Committee on Social and Cultural Development Askhat Aimagambetov, Chairman of the Board of the AEO "Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools" Anuar Zhangozin, and Acting President of Nazarbayev University Ilesanmi Adesida.
The meeting was held at Nazarbayev University.
At the meeting, the Mazhilis deputies got acquainted with the activities of the Intellectual Schools, the development strategy, achievements, results of social projects aimed at developing the sphere of secondary education and work on disseminating the experience of NIS. NIS subsidiaries – the Center for Educational Programs, the Center for Pedagogical Measurements, the Center of Excellence and Beyim Tech – also presented their projects.
The Mazhilis members also comprehensively analyzed issues of optimizing the mechanisms for financing educational organizations, the importance of maintaining autonomy and further increasing the potential of educational institutions.
