A new project aimed at developing rural schools has been launched

The Autonomous Educational Organization "Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools" (AEO NIS), in collaboration with the BAQ Funds Consortium, ESEN Foundation, and ANSA, with the support of the AMANAT party, has launched a project aimed at developing rural schools. Teachers from comprehensive schools in the Tselinograd district of the Akmola region became the participants of the project.

"NIS always strives to share its experience, with a special focus on rural schools. We are pleased to jointly develop and strengthen the internal potential of our country's schools for the well-being of children," said Anuar Zhangozin, Chairman of the Board of AEO "Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools," as he congratulated everyone on the launch of the new project.

“The result of the joint project with AEO 'Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools' will be the establishment of a rural pedagogical academy based in several promising schools, aimed at the continuous professional development of teachers. For this, we will train thre trainers in collaboration with the Center of Excellence,” noted Kamila Basharova, a representative of the ESEN Foundation.

At the school in the village of Karaotkel in the Tselinograd district, directors and deputy directors of 30 rural schools were introduced to the methods and technologies of strategic planning, and also learned to develop a school development program, practiced decision-making skills based on school data and evaluation of the effectiveness of taken management decisions.

Also, within the framework of the project, the Center of Excellence conducted a study of the professional needs of teachers, observation of lessons, and in the new academic year will organize a number of advanced training courses, seminars and master classes for the heads and teachers of 30 rural schools.
