Standard Requirements for the School Uniform 
Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools AEO 

School uniform promotes a sense of unity and belonging to the school community; it also plays an essential role in creating an image of the school and helps to build social cohesion among students. Moreover, having a common standard of school clothing keeps students disciplined and focused on learning.

School uniform is compulsory for all students of Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools AEO. The design and colour of the school uniform are of a classic style. The school uniform is in dark blue, and shirts and blouses are in light colours.

School uniform for boys includes: a jacket, trousers, a formal shirt, and a casual shirt. Trousers for boys are loose-fitting and cover the ankles.

School uniform for girls includes: a jacket, a skirt, trousers, and a classic blouse. Trousers for girls are loose-fitting and cover the ankles, the skirt length is below the knees. 

The left-hand side of the jacket has a chevron with the school emblem. Wearing a tie is compulsory.

Chevron model: an irregular pentagon ending in a blunt angle (see the picture). Dimensions: height – 65 mm, width – 55 mm.

Chevron colours: white, green, and gold.

Fabric: 100% polyester.

Tie model: a classic tie made of 100% polyester striped fabric, featuring a trapezoid-shaped main part ending in an acute angle. Dimensions: length – 152 cm, width at the base – 5.5 cm, width at the top of the knot – 3.5 cm.

Tie colours: grey, green, and gold.

Inclusion of any elements of various religious clothing into school uniform is not allowed.

School uniform is made of semi-wool and cotton fabrics, which are highly wear-resistant and have antibacterial, antimicrobial and antistatic properties.

Parents and other legal representatives shall make students wear the school uniform established by the Intellectual School.
