Today the school library leads the role of an information center
Today the school library leads the role of an information center, where conditions are created for the development of a creative and intellectual personality. New technologies and approaches are being actively introduced in the libraries of Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools.
The experience of organizing the work of libraries of Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools is actively being disseminated and implemented in general education schools of the country. In addition to theory, practical work with participants is carried out at seminars, "feedback" techniques are used, reflection is carried out, material of different nature and content is distributed. Participants can use these materials in their work, both as a guide on certain topics, and as a plan for further actions, because they contain very rich material in all areas of the school library.

In the context of a pandemic, seminars on disseminating the experience of libraries are held in a remote format, which allows reaching a larger number of participants from remote rural areas. The number of schools covered by dissemination of the experience of teachers-librarians, the AEO "Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools" amounted to 5906, the number of seminars - 108, the number of participants - 10452.
However, in 2021, face-to-face seminars were also held, which allowed students to get acquainted in more detail with the projects and methods of the libraries of Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools. At the request of the state institution "Republican Scientific and Pedagogical Library" of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan a republican seminar was organized on the topic "Ways to effectively use modern technological methods to encourage reading", which was attended by 160 librarians from each region. During the seminar, teachers-librarians of Intellectual schools in Almaty and Taldykorgan highlighted the methods of reading "Blind date with book", "Book Hospital", "Book puzzle", "Find the book", "Learnis". In the practical part of the seminar, participants were provided with practical work on all methods.
At an online seminar organized by the Department of Education of the Akimat of Kostanay region on the implementation of the project "Reading School", teachers-librarians of the Nazarbayev Intellectual School in the city of Kostanay spoke on the topic: "Projects of libraries of Nazarbayev Intellectual schools in the field of reading development". The seminar was broadcast on the ZOOM and YouTube platforms. During the seminar, the projects "100 books recommended for reading by students of Nazarbayev Intellectual schools" and "READx", traditional actions "Vooksgossipd", "The Book conquers the world", "BookStart" were presented. The possibilities of applying methods and techniques for each project in the course of remote work, the creation of booktrailers, "Campaign 1.2.3", "D.E.A.R. Drop everything and read!", the game "BookBingo" are demonstrated. At the end of the seminar, all the questions of the seminar participants, methodologists and librarians were answered. In total, more than 560 people participated.
