August Conference of pedagogical workers of the Republic of Kazakhstan

On August 15, the August conference in online format was held on the basis of AEO "Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools". The plenary part was broadcast on the official YouTube channel of NIS. The moderator of the conference was the Managing Director of AEO "Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools" - Kazzhanova Aigul Omirovna, the director of the Foundation for Sustainable Development Toktarbayev Daniyar Salauatovich was also present.

The theme of the conference is dedicated to the transfer of best practices to teachers participating in the project "Rural School Powered by NIS" and the charitable educational project "Development of the potential of supporting schools in rural areas" AEO "Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools".

On the example of real cases, the problems of improving the quality of education in rural schools were worked out with managers and teachers. Exchange of experience between the participants of the project to improve classroom teaching and school management.

The country's teachers were shown the best practices and modern trends in education. 52 speakers of AOO "NIS" shared their experience, held 13 subject sessions in the state and russian languages, covering more than 300 teachers of the country on the Zoom platform.

Workshops on the development of functional literacy were held for teachers in the following areas:


Development of functional reading
Development of creative thinking in the classroom
Development of mathematical literacy
Development of natural science literacy
Development of research skills in history lessons
Development of digital literacy in computer science lessons.


As well as workshops on final certification of students: format, content, approaches to the development of tasks in the subjects: mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, computer science, geography, Kazakh language and literature, Russian language and literature, English language and history.
