Two support schools were presented in East Kazakhstan region

Deputies of the Mazhilis of Parliament Yermurat Bapi and Yerlan Sairov and the director of the corporate fund "Endowment Qazaqstan Halqyna" Chingiz Sharapiyev visited schools in the East Kazakhstan region that participate in the project "Capacity development of rural schools", which is implemented by the Foundation "Qazaqstan Halqyna", AITAS holding, AEO "Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools" and the Foundation for Sustainable Development of Education, with the support of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan and akimats. The guests got acquainted with the schools of the city of Zaissan and the village of Akzhar, Tarbagatai district. The head of the Foundation for Sustainable Development of Education, Daniyar Toktarbayev, spoke about the changes and opportunities that have opened up for support schools.
The first school visited by the deputies was the Secondary School named after. Mukhtar Auezov of the city of Zaissan. This is one of the largest schools in the city, with more than 900 students. As part of the project, 35 school classrooms received new equipment this year. There were rooms for additional education, a psychologist, a sewing workshop, a food culture workshop, a carpentry and plumbing workshop, a television studio, a STEM laboratory, an ART studio, a library, and an assembly hall.

Another point of visit in the East Kazakhstan region was the school named after. Abai in the village of Akzhar, Tarbagatai district. The school has a hundred-year history, and one of the first directors of the school was the owner of the Order of “Halyk Kaharmany” Kassym Kayssenov. This year, the school became a participant in the second stage of the project “Capacity development of rural schools”. The school has been equipped with 26 classrooms and a library, and sports equipment has been updated.
