Working trip to rural schools
On November 10-11, 2023, a group of teachers from the Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Physics and Mathematics in Semey visited the Aksuat district in order to implement methodological support for the project “Capacity development of rural schools.” The secondary school named after Kozhageldy Batyr in this area is a support school.
The important trip was attended by mathematics teacher D. Abdrakhmanov, computer science teacher M. Ondasynov, Physics teacher S. Baiseitova, English teacher N. Kunebayev, teacher-organizer-curator A. Ibragimova, international teacher Torrilla Marcel Fulgencio. In addition to providing 6th grade students with comprehensive information about Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools, each teacher shared his experience of working with colleagues from support school in teaching lessons.
“We can say that our 2-day work trip was successful. I think my colleagues have achieved their intended goal. Thus, during the exchange of experience, only the class teachers were presented with a school concept based on the age characteristics of each class. Methods of organizing and conducting educational events, network educational projects were presented. Teachers used various active outdoor games to learn new methods and approaches. The gathered teachers exchanged opinions and thoughts about values in educational work,” says teacher-organizer-curator Almagul Ibragimova.
