Internship for rural teachers at NIS of Physics and Mathematics in the city of Semey
Rural schools of the Zharma, Ayagoz, Aksuat districts of the Abay region are assigned as support schools to the Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Physics and Mathematics in Semey. As part of the project “Capacity development of rural schools” on November 20, 2023, teachers from support schools gathered for a teaching internship at the Intellectual School.
More than 80 teachers came for the internship, for whom colleagues from the Intellectual School developed a special program and created conditions for the exchange of experience in various subjects. In addition, the school administration, librarians, psychologists conducted classes in their areas of activity, and subject teachers gathered at a round table after school.
“We work closely with the secondary school named after Mayakovsky in the Zharminsky district, the Ayagoz city multidisciplinary Kazakh school-gymnasium, and the Aksuat secondary school named after Kozhageldy Batyr. Since the beginning of the current school year, our teachers have visited these schools and shared their experiences. We will continue this work in the second half of the academic year,” says Nurgazy Tursingazin, deputy director of the NIS of Physics and Maths for scientific and methodological work.
