Are there any preparation courses for the selection of students of the 7th grade of Nazarbayev Intellectual schools?
1. The Virtual School is a social project, available for students of the 5th and the 6th grades according to the specified schedule for no charge, and aims to prepare students to the selection test of the 7th grade of Intellectual schools.
The Virtual School platform gives access to study materials and do follow-up tasks which are based on the sections of the educational programmes of the comprehensive school on “Mathematics”, “Natural science”, “Kazakh language”, “Kazakh language and literature”, “Russian language”, “Russian language and literature”, “English language”.
The training is performed in Kazakh and Russian languages. А student can independently choose a subject and a topic to study within the specified time. Registration on the website http://vs.nis.edu.kz/ is needed to access the training at the Virtual School.
2. In addition, there is the ACADEMIA.kz platform, which has an online course “How to prepare for admission to Nazarbayev Intellectual school and evaluate your opportunities”. The online course is composed of study materials, exercises and tasks of the following sections of the selection test. The online course is available in Kazakh and Russian languages with an opportunity to do it anytime and anywhere. -
How can I register for the trial test? How is the trial test performed? Where can I see the results of the trial test?
The registration and booking of a place for the trial test are carried in advance of each trial test at the online registration portal https://trialtest.nis.edu.kz
The trial test is a computer-based testing held in 21 Nazarbayev Intellectual schools and International School of Astana. The number of places in each school is limited.
The results of the trial test can be viewed in the ‘My account’ page of the ‘User’ at the online-registration portal on the 5th day after the last trial test.
