A graduate of the R. Marsekov School won the bronze medal at the Republican Olympiad
Kuanysh Mukhametzhan, an 11th-grade student of the Secondary School named after R. Marsekov in the Ulan District of the East Kazakhstan Region, was awarded a bronze medal and a third-degree diploma at the Republican Olympiad in the subject “Fundamentals of Law”.
The Republican Olympiad in the subjects "History of Kazakhstan", "Fundamentals of Law" was held from April 26 to 30, 2024 in Ust-Kamenogorsk. More than 180 gifted schoolchildren of grades 10-11 from all cities and regions of the Republic of Kazakhstan took part in the Olympiad.
As noted by the deputy director of the secondary school named after R. Marsekov Karlygash Ilyassova, this is already the second prize place for the school at the Republican Olympiad this year. Earlier, the school's student Syrym Zhandosuly took second place in the subject "Fundamentals of Law" at the Olympiad in Astana.
It should be noted that Kuanysh Mukhametzhan and Syrym Zhandosuly became holders of four-year grants from Suleyman Demirel University in Almaty before the end of the academic year. The guys scored high points in the SPT Olympiad, which is held annually by the university itself. The schoolchildren will enroll in the specialties "Jurisprudence" and "International Law".
The secondary School named after R. Marsekov of the Ulan District has been participating in the "Rural School powered by NIS" project since 2019. The results of monitoring the knowledge of school students, as well as the growth of participants and winners of Olympiads from the school show a steady increase in the level of knowledge.
