The team of the Kogaly hub school passed the selection for Solve for Tomorrow
The team of the Kogaly hub school of the Kerbulak district of the Zhetyssu region reached the semi-finals, entering the Top-35 out of 670 participants of the republican competition
According to the head of the Kogaly robotics team Kuanysh Serikuly, the Frank 0.1 robot is designed for emergency situations and was built in 10 days. This multifunctional robot is capable of delivering first aid tools to people, such as medicines, fire extinguishers, and others, despite traffic jams and emergency situations.
Now students of grades 8, 9 and 10, consisting of the team Miras Nurmukhanbet, Miras Otegen, Meirlan Baimukhanbet, Azamat Adilkhanuly, are preparing for the mentoring session, which will take place on June 15 in Almaty. And the final of the competition will take place on September 30.
Solve for Tomorrow is a social project competition for middle and high school students initiated by Samsung.
This republican competition helps future leaders develop creative skills in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics.
