Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools won the 2019 UNESCO Wenhui Award!
A congratulatory letter to the chairman of the board of the autonomous organization of education “Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools” Kulyash Shamshidinova was signed by the director of the UNESCO Cluster Office in Almaty, Christa Piccat.

NIS became the first representative of Kazakhstan to be awarded the UNESCO Prize in the field of education. The Wenhui Award aims to promote university-school partnerships to advance the project “Education-2030”.
The UNESCO Prize was awarded to innovative Kazakhstani schools for successful partnerships between universities and schools that promote quality education and lifelong learning – in preparing children and youth for life, work and global citizenship.
Among the nominees for the final stage were the best universities in Australia, China, Malaysia and Sri Lanka.
