The President of Finland Sauli Niinistö met the Secretariat of the World Summit of Students for Climate. Dana Klyshpayeva, a student of Nazarbayev Intellectual school of Physics and Mathematics in Kostanay, is a member of this Secretariat, who discussed the climate issues together with other students of the world and President of Finland.
The meeting and conversation with the Finnish President became possible due to the membership of Dana in the World Summit of Students for Climate. Dana won a special competition among the participants of the forum, after which she was entrusted to represent Asian countries in the General Secretariat of the summit. Such issues as measures to prevent climate change, development of renewable energy and collection and recycling of plastics were discussing with the President Sauli Niinistö. The President thanked young people for their active position, and urged them to move forward.
The international summit in Finland gathered 135 schoolchildren and 100 teachers from 70 countries of the world. In one week students aged 14-17 shared the experience of their countries and discussed the solution of climate problems. It is expected that today, June 5, on the World Environment Day, in the Helsinki city hall, the summit participants will adopt the disclosure and the climate agreement.
