The Presidents of Kazakhstan and Russia Nursultan Nazarbayev and Vladimir Putin met with students of the Intellectual School in Petropavlovsk, who presented them projects in robotics.
At the end of the Cross-Border Cooperation Forum, which is now taking place in Petropavlovsk, the Presidents of Kazakhstan and Russia visited the Palace of Schoolchildren, and examined the classrooms and laboratories using innovative technologies in the educational process. The Heads of two states also got acquainted with the students' projects and talked with schoolchildren, the Akorda informs.
There were students of Intellectual School among 2000 participants of the forum. They presented their own projects to the Heads of State - a loader robot, a hoverboard robot and told about the working algorithms of machines manufacturing plants.
- I want to be an Engineer in the future. The various extracurricular activities at the school helped me to make my choice, - a student of the NIS 11th grade Akzhan Zholdybaev told to Nursultan Abishevich.
- I stood aside. Nursultan Abishevich looked at me and asked, where I study. I said NIS and that came from the village. It was an unexpected moment for me. I could never have imagined to talk to the President. I feel very happy, - confessed Veronika Sidorkina, the 11th grade student.
