Victory from Bangkok


Students from Almaty Intellectual School of Physics and Mathematics Bakhtiyar Temirov and Tamirlan Zharmagambetov took first place at the international robotics competition Battle in Bangkok in Thailand.

Competitions were held on the site of the NIST International School, which welcomes more than 1,500 students of over 50 nationalities. 21 teams took part in the championship in robotics.

Students of Intellectual school became winners in category VRC. This is not the first victory of Bakhtiyar Temirov and Tamirlan Zharmagambetov. Despite their young age, the guys have a great experience of participation in major international championships in robotics. Last summer, as part of the team of Intellectual schools, they entered the top ten at the First Global Challenge in Washington. They also represented Kazakhstan at the World Robotics Competition, held in Louisville, Kentucky (USA). And for the World Cup Kazakhstan schoolchildren got a brilliant victory at the largest European robotics festival in Moscow "Robofest -2017", which brought together 5000 students from 65 regions of Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan.
